DLA Piper advised Donetsksteel

DLA Piper completed international restructuring of the debt portfolio for Donetsksteel for USD 820 million. More than 35 international and Ukrainian banks were among the group's creditors.

Within the restructuring process, DLA Piper proved to be a reliable partner and advocate of Donetsksteel interests.

DLA Piper team was led by Oleksandr Kurdydyk, and included Illya Muchnyk, legal director, Rodion Ignatenko, senior associate, as well as associates Maksym Andrianov and Dmytro Pshenychnyuk.

Completion of the restructuring strengthens competitive positions of Donetsksteel group and provides a stable financial ground for achievement of its strategic goals.
