ANK defended interests of m/v Baltic Chief I

An oil spill occurred during bunkering at the m/v Baltic Chief I on May 2011 in the waters of the exclusive (sea) economic zone of Ukraine.

After bunkering had been completed and the relevant authorities had been informed, the vessel left for Nikolaev Sea Trade Port, where it was detained.

With the help of ANK law firm the correct amount of damages was determined, agreed and approved without any delay, and after the damage had been compensated the vessel received the opportunity to leave the waters of Nikolaev Sea Trade Port.
