Tamara Lukanina joined Asters

Tamara Lukanina has joined Asters as an associated partner at the Banking, Finance and Securities practice group. Ms. Lukanina boasts more than twenty years of experience in corporate, business, tax, and labor law on top of being an expert in the matters of protection of intellectual property rights and the use of subsoil resources, including issuance of special-purpose licenses and execution of production sharing agreements (PSAs). Before joining Asters, she served as an advisor on various legal issues that concern the business activities of Ukrainian enterprises in the Ukrainian Ministry of Justice. Ms. Lukanina worked as a general counsel to major Kiev enterprises, such as Electronmash and Ukrtelecom.

Ms. Lukanina is one of the leading commercial litigators in Ukraine, with a record of winning several precedent-setting cases in Ukrainian commercial and administrative courts. Also she was a member of the legal team representing clients’ interests at the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. Tamara Lukanina is a graduate of Kyiv State University Law School and is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian.
