Sergiy Grebenyuk elected as Deputy Head of the Consultative Council of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine
On 14 July, 2014, Sergiy Grebenyuk, Attorney, Counsel and Co-head of Criminal Law Practice at Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners Ukraine, has been elected as a Deputy Head of the Consultative Council of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine.
Sergiy Grebenyuk actively participates in public legal work. In 2012, he was elected as a deputy head of the Committee of Criminal and Criminal Procedural Law of the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA). Since June 2013 Sergiy leads the UBA Kyiv branch. Mr. Grebenyuk is recognized among the 100 best lawyers of Ukraine, according to “Client's Choice. TOP-100 Best Ukrainian Lawyers 2012-2013" research by Yuridicheskaya Gazeta publishing house. Mr. Grebenyuk is named among notable practitioners in criminal law according to "Ukrainian Law Firms 2014" compilation by Yuridicheskaya Practika publishing house.
Consultative Council is an advisory body to the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine. The Consultative Council composed of high level representatives from Ukrainian legal society, public organizations, human rights organizations, mass media, etc. Members of the Consultative Council are elected for two years.
