Arzinger strengthens its Corporate Law and M&A Practice

On 1 December 2013 Anna Zorya joined Arzinger Law Office as a partner. She will strengthen the team of Corporate Law and M&A and will co-head the same practice together with Maksym Cherkasenko. Anna will bring in a wealth of experience and an excellent reputation. Thus Arzinger will increase its market share in corporate law and M&A and will make its respective expertise more valuable for the clients.

Anna Zorya specializes in representing corporate clients and financial institutions in mergers and acquisitions, cross-border structured finance transactions and other transactions in the capital markets and debt financing.

Prior to joining Arzinger Anna was a partner at a Ukrainian law firm, where she headed the Corporate and M&A practice. She also worked in the corporate practice and later in the tax practice of a leading CIS law firm. Her experience in corporate and tax law allows Anna to have a deep insight into the client’s needs and enables her to find optimal solutions for the tasks set by clients.

Anna has many years of experience in the area of mergers and acquisitions in various sectors of business as well as in banking and finance transactions and real estate. She represented a number of major international corporations and companies operating in the CIS. In particular, Anna represented an international investor in the acquisition of a 50% share in a 150 million dollar construction and management project of the five-star Hilton hotel in Kiev (Ukraine). Also, she actively participated in the acquisition of “Globus” in Kiev (Ukraine) and several other real estate projects, such as the acquisition of the Dutch company “Gooioord”, which owns 12 properties in the historical center of Kiev.
