The 2013 National Legal Congress
RIA Novosti and the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) will be teaming up on 10-11 December to host the National Legal Congress, one of the Russian legal industry’s most high-profile events.
The Congress was first held in 2011, and has rapidly gained side recognition among professionals in the industry, attracting hundreds of representatives of Russian judiciary, law firms, officials, NGOs, entrepreneurs, and renowned scholars.
Though formerly known as the International Legal Conference (ILC), the event has been officially renamed this year to more aptly reflect the Congress’ aims and objective: notably a cutting edge current analysis of the Russian legal market and a review of recent developments in the transparency of Russia’s judiciary, and legal reforms, as well as the promotion of legal culture.
The 2013 National Legal Congress will be held with the direct support of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, the Supreme Commercial Court and the Federal Chamber of Lawyers.
The RAPSIUS Awards ceremony will be the part of this year’s program. The award honors remarkable input and efforts to enhance legal culture in Russian society.
