Baker & McKenzie elected two newest partners in Kiev
The Kiev office of Baker & McKenzie electedtwo newest partners – Olyana Gordiyenko and Ihor Siusel, bringing the total number of partners in Kiev to ten.
Olyana Gordiyenko has nearly 12 years of experience advising local Ukrainian and international clients on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including English law governed deals. Olyana’s practice has in recent years focused on private equity, FMCG, healthcare and oil & gas sectors. Olyana has developed an in-depth knowledge of regulatory, technical and practical issues pertaining to all stages of oil & gas exploration and production.
Ihor Siuel re-joined the Kiev office of Baker & McKenzie as a counsel and the head of the Dispute Resolution Practice Group in November 2012. He first joined Baker & McKenzie in 2006, and served as an associate partner at Lavrynovych & Partners law firm. His professional experience also includes different managerial positions in the NJSC Oranta and in the Ministry of Transport of Ukraine. Ihor has more than 13 years of practical experience, 10 of which as a legal advisor in the major local and international law firms where he continuously practiced law in dispute resolution, namely international and domestic arbitration, litigation, enforcement of court judgments and arbitral awards and bankruptcy law. Ihor advises and represents local and foreign clients in commercial, real estate, construction, corporate, IP, tax, customs, labor, insurance, loan, maritime, aviation, telecom, product liability and bankruptcy disputes, including complex cross-border disputes.
