Kyiv Office of Chadbourne & Parke LLP Establishes Litigation Practice

The international law firm of Chadbourne & Parke LLP announced that Olga Vorozhbyt has joined the firm as a Senior associate to develop the litigation and arbitration practices of the Kyiv office.

Ms. Vorozhbyt, 29, joins Chadbourne's Kyiv office from Baker & McKenzie, where her five years of practice focused on litigation, international and local arbitration, as well as compliance projects.

Ms. Vorozhbyt has wide-ranging experience in dispute resolution, including pre-trial negotiations, representation of clients in all levels of Ukrainian courts and arbitration proceedings both in Ukraine and abroad and settlement of disputes. Her experience also involves settlement of corporate conflicts and advising clients on problematic dismissals.

Among Ms. Vorozhbyt's recent achievements there are several favorable decisions in high-value tax and commercial disputes, as well as successful recognition of multimillion arbitral awards in Ukraine. In addition, Ms. Vorozhbyt has extensive experience in handling complex compliance projects involving criminal and internal investigations in Ukraine and abroad, various court proceedings, and conducting negotiations with state authorities.

Ms. Vorozhbyt graduated from the law department of the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University in 2002.

Ms. Vorozhbyt has been named in Ukrainian Law Firms 2009. A Handbook for Foreign Clients for her litigation work in Ukraine and in Ukrainian Law Firms 2010. A Handbook for Foreign Clients for her international arbitration work. She has been also recognized as a recommended specialist in dispute resolution area by European Legal 500 (2008).
