Spenser & Kauffmann represented the interests of Yuzhny Sea Port

The Commercial Court of Odessa Region invalidated the ruling of the Odessa regional branch of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine on violation of competition legislation by the state-owned enterprise Yuzhny Sea Trade Port. The Spenser & Kauffmann law firm represented the interests of the port. In its decision of 16 June 2009, the AMCU accused the port of abusing its monopoly position. It was reported that Yuzhny set different amounts of discounts to port charges and dues for vessels entering its water area for loading and unloading. Spenser & Kauffmann team included Nikita Nota, associate, under the guidance of Victoriya Ptashnyk, head of the firm’s antitrust and competition law practice.
