Second fair of social and environmental projects will take place in Ukraine

The Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility development is inviting people to visit the CSR MarketPlace – fair of social and environmental projects of the companies that will be organized within “Ukraine National Initiatives to Enhance Reforms” (UNITER) Project that is implemented by Pact and financed by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

CSR MarketPlace is the most extensive event in the CSR sphere, which aims to focus attention and raise awareness among consumers, partners, employees, shareholders, journalists and other stakeholders to their social and environmental projects.

The topic of the Ukrainian CSR MarketPlace 2011 is “Stakeholder dialogue”. Apart from the exhibition of projects that will take place in the format of the fair, the program of the event also includes the following activities:

• roundtable “Participation of donors and companies in project on CSR development in Ukraine”;
• roundtable “How to evaluate corporate community investment projects”;
• discussion on the concept of National CSR strategy with representatives of universities, media, NGOs, business and municipalities;
• discussion by top managers of the largest Ukrainian companies concerning introduction of corporate social responsibility in the companies.

CSR MarketPlace participants will have a unique possibility not only to present their successful projects, but also to exchange experience and find partners. Visitors will be able to present their own successful projects, swap experience and find partners. Visitors will also decide on the most interesting project, which will be awarded at the fair’s closing ceremony.
